Last weekend, I woke up early and came into the nursery. The light in the mornings is so soft and inviting. I sat in the rocker and tried to imagine what our lives will be like ever so soon
how lovely. how exciting. (when is baby expected again? i feel like it's soon?!) i love the light you get in that room, too. will make for some beautiful mornings together in that chair. xo
You're nursery looks amazing. I walk into ours at least once a day and just stare into the crib wondering who will be there to stare back at me. I'm so excited I can't wait! Thanks for sharing the new corner of your house with us!
i just stumbled upon your blog from hopping around and i'm so glad to have landed here! :) congratulations...your nursery is coming along lovely...i really like the prints that you've chosen.
This was just a place to post all the beautiful things that I stumbled across. Until one afternoon, when the light was streaming into my office, I couldn't hold back the tears. Now, this has become a place to post my thoughts about trying to start a family, along with the beautiful things. I figure if I put it all here, there will be no more crying at work.

ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! It looks like you're painting the ceiling too.. is that true? I love that!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your rocker? I have been on the search for the perfect one, and yours seems pretty darn close. I love the exposed wood rocker base.
Fantastic job. Can't wait to see the pics of your little bundle in there someday soon.
naomi - for a pair of procrastinators, we've made great progress on the nursery considering I'm not due until June . . .
ReplyDeletekate - the rocker is originally from pottery barn I believe, but I scored it for quite a deal off of craigslist!
